I didn't finish any of the books that I started, Emma and Black Hawk Down. Maybe I'll finished BHD before I have to return it.
I bought the DVDs for Clueless, Minority Report and Black Hawk Down, early on.
I went to the cinema twice (or three times maybe) in the whole of last year which is just lame.
I saw Juno first. It was alright (with the highest level of positivity).
*Spoilers*
On that same day I saw American Gangster. I enjoyed the way people got killed randomly. It was fun. I enjoyed the gunfight at the end but it was a bit chaotic. The chat at the end was good. I enjoyed it. The characters were solid and I was cheering for the drug trafficker as much as for the honest cop. Frank Lucas and Richie Roberts respectively after checking Wikipedia.
I saw Sweeney Todd yesterday, one day after its release in AUS. It was in the biggest size of cinema at Greater Union. I sat through it to see the ending. Basically, everyone died. I enjoyed to music. It benefited from the high quality speakers. I'm not sure whether the speakers in the G-Max are better than the ones in the regular ones. There are certainly more of them. The blood wasn't fun like the random shootings in American Gangster. I really didn't feel the revenge and was ultimately not that satisfied.
*End of spoilers*
Yesterday I also bought two chart CDs from Sanity for $40. I don't really enjoyed music terribly much but I need it to increase my productivity when I work at home.
In Rainbows by Radiohead is in a paper sleeve and I am supposed to assemble it myself. Maybe it's to make a statement but I find it inconvenient. Anyway I store my CDs in paper envelopes, not jewel cases. I don't have an opinion of the music yet because I've only gone through it once. It feels like music.
I'm enjoying the soundtrack of Juno. It's better than I expected. I bought it because I wanna (as in "I pull out my gun/ and shoot and seagulls for gun/ because I wanna").
Damn it's hot. How long have I been typing this?
It's Australia Day today and I'm not doing anything to celebrate my great country. I don't feel so good. I'll concentrate on the last thirty minutes of the cricket instead of typing.
EDIT: Wait. I forgot about lunch (cricket is the only sport to have such a thing). There is 4 and a half hours after lunch.
EDIT: I forgot to mention I had a haircut soon after seeing Sweeney Todd.
